If we hold your CV and you never signed up

Notice version 2026-09-04 · DATA DIVERSITY PTY LTD · ABN 44 672 313 307. Required by Australian Privacy Principle 5, which applies when we collect information about somebody from a source other than that person.

You do not need an account for any of this

If you have had an email from us, the link in it lets you see, correct, hide or delete everything we hold, without signing in. If you have not had one — or the link has expired — write to us and we will send another.

Who holds your information

Envesha — a marketplace that connects specialist AI practitioners with Australian employers.

Where we got it

From a CV sent to us, usually by you or by a recruiter acting for you, and in some cases forwarded to us by somebody else. We did not take it from a social network or buy it from a data broker.

If you believe we should not have it, the link in the email that brought you here will delete it, in full, without an account and without asking you why.

What we hold

Your name and contact details; your work history, skills, education and certifications; your location, availability, rate or salary expectation and work-rights status where the CV states them; and the text of the CV itself.

We do not hold sensitive information as the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) defines it — health, racial or ethnic origin, political or religious belief, sexual orientation, union membership. There is nowhere to enter it, we do not extract it, and it is not used in ranking.

What we do with it

We build a searchable profile so employers hiring in Australia can find you, and we rank you against roles automatically.

Your CV is read by a language model to pull out skills, roles and dates. That model is operated by OpenAI outside Australia, so the document is sent overseas to be read.

You can opt out of automated ranking entirely and stay listed; a person will still find you by searching.

Who can see it

Verified employers on the platform can see your profile — your experience, skills, location and what you are asking for — without your name being the thing they search on.

Your email address and phone number are not shown. An employer only gets them by paying to reveal them, one candidate at a time, and every reveal is recorded against their account and yours.

We do not sell your details, and we do not send them to anyone who has not paid to reveal them.

How long we keep it

24 months after your last activity, after which the record is de-identified. You can ask us to delete it before then at any time.

Your choices, all of which work without an account

See and correct what we hold.

Hide yourself from employers — the profile stays, nobody can find it.

Delete everything.

Opt out of automated ranking.

Stop us emailing you.

If you want to complain

Write to us first and we will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

This notice forms part of our privacy policy. How the automatic ranking works, and how to opt out of it, is set out in our automated decision-making notice.
